The VSUZH Sports Day has existed since 2014 and always took place on the Irchel campus.

Different teams compete against each other in a sporting competition.

 

Anyone can take part, be they students, doctoral students, lecturers, alumni or external students. All you need are sport clothes, a good mood and a lock to stow away your valuables in a locker.

 

We will inform you about the date of the next sports day here, on the homepage and via social media.

Info Sports Day 2020

On November 8, 2020, it's time to pack your sports bag and head off to the VSUZH sports day at Irchel. A day of Volleyball, Floorball and Dodgeball are awaiting you!

Meeting point is 09:30 in front of the ASVZ Center at Irchel. End is around 16:00, also at Irchel.

You have to bring with you:

• Own drinking bottle

• Something to eat (we do not provide food)

• Sportswear and sneakers (and shower equipment, for those who want to take shower)

• Own mask(s)

Due to the current situation with Corona, we must take a number of safety precautions similar to those of the Federal Office of Public Health, the ASVZ and the UZH (University of Zürich).

 

To ensure contact tracing in the event of a possible Corona case, participants of the sports day must download the "Socialpass" app before entering the sports area. There, the participants enter the relevant and personal data and receive a QR code. The data is stored in encrypted form on a server for 14 days, and in the event of any corona infections, only the cantonal doctor and the Federal Office of Public Health have access to it.

 

In front of the entrance to the sports area, one of the organizers stands ready and scans the QR codes generated on "Socialpass".
