Personal integrity

All members of the University of Zurich are expected to treat each other with respect. However, for everyone's protection, it is of paramount importance that regulations clearly stipulate that sexual harassment is prohibited and will not be tolerated under any circumstances.

Official information from the University of Zurich

Here you will find the official contact point at the University of Zurich (UZH) where you can report any form of sexual harassment. Actions perceived as boundary violations can be discussed here in a safe, anonymous, and independent/neutral environment. Possible next steps and consequences will be outlined. Legal proceedings can be initiated.

Definition of sexual harassment

This includes, for example, unwanted advances and demeaning behavior of any kind in the form of gestures, statements, displays, and actions; unwanted physical contact; and sexually offensive innuendo.

Currently, we have one contact person for each gender (female and male) - we are currently lacking a TIN person.

You are welcome to indicate a preference when contacting us, if you wish.
