The goal of Impulsfabrik is to promote charitable engagement among students.

The Impulsfabrik provides targeted support to student organizations and individuals regarding financial resources, spaces at the University of Zurich (UZH), advertising channels, recruiting new members, and much more. The Impulsfabrik is the direct point of contact for initiatives in the idea stage and also supports them in the eventual formation of an association. The Impulsfabrik maintains close contact with the UZH's Campus Culture department in this regard. Student organizations already accredited at the UZH (StudOrgs) can contact the Campus Culture department directly with any organizational concerns.

The Impulsfabrik is an organizational unit of the Association of Students of the University of Zurich (VSUZH). It began as a pilot project with initial funding from the Mercator Foundation Switzerland and is now supported by the University of Zurich.
